Hi, I’m Laura, a lifestyle, documentary, and family photographer. I am a firm believer in all moments, big and small, are special and make up who we are. I find that my degree in early childhood education and being a mother of four beautiful and spirited children makes working with children of all ages, dare I say, easy. As an artist, I pride myself in capturing the essence of my subject and showing the mood and emotions of the event. While I will pose for the “must have family shot”, deep down I have a greater appreciation for candids and capturing people in the moment. My inspiration is found in those I photograph as well as my own life experiences, family and children. Thank you for trusting me with capturing your most important stages in life.
Fun facts about me: I have a huge sweet tooth, I am a mental health advocate, I am the wife of a retired combat injured army veteran (USMA, go ARMY).
When I’m not working I can be found on the sidelines of my kids sporting events, dating my husband, exercising, giving back/volunteering within my community, dancing in my kitchen, curled up on my couch reading a good book, and playing Mahjong with friends.
